Artist Bio...
I was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. I have lived in several states over the last 10 years and have been very inspired by the scenery, change of seasons, and the vastness of inspiration found in all of them. I feel blessed to have been able to experience so many things this early in my lifetime.
I find complete joy in painting and designing and have ever since I can remember. My art has a fantasy whimsical style and I love to create things that are unique and beyond the normal realm of things. Don't get me wrong, I love to paint realistic pet and animal animal art as well! My children are a great inspiration to me. When my daughter was a little girl she used to walk out by the ferns that would grow outside of our house in Pennsylvania and tell me that was where the fairies lived. You have to love a child's imagination. There is nothing like it in the world.
I love to work with a variety of clients from web designs and logo designs in the graphics industry, to whimsical and fantasy illustrations and paintings, to creating a timeless portrait of a pet or animal. Each piece has a special meaning behind it to those that commission my work. My web design clients range from construction companies to the local aspiring music artist. I have designed stamps for several companies nation wide and work on branding as well as an arrangement of other print and web design commissions on a daily basis.
It brings me great joy to be able to create for others. If you are looking to commission a piece of art or need design work done for your company, please use my contact page to send me an inquiry. My commissions usually are completed anywhere from two weeks to a month depending on the type of design work needed however there are times when my work load is heavy. I am always available for commission and will let you know my schedule upon request of a new commission.
My Art
My paintings, illustrations and designs take many forms. My style delves into a whimsical fantasy world where detail and creativity are accentuated and explored. I love to create fairies, unicorns and take natural elements of animals and nature and put my own little creative twist on them. This is not to say that I don't also love completely realistic natural art and design work. I adapt very well to commissions from my clients so that I can give them exactly what they are looking for and more.
I am not limited to one particular type of media and I love the versatility in being able to work with both print and web design as well. My paintings and illustrations are either hand painted using traditional methods of acrylic paint, pen and ink, graphite, and colored pencil depending upon what I am creating, how I want to create it and what type of media my client is looking for. I also love to design and illustrate digitally. I use industry standard equipment and software, a wacom drawing tablet and top of the line Epson printer to create my own inhouse print work. My paintings and illustrations are printed on a variety of different papers such as premium photo paper, velvet fine art paper, and canvas just to name a few. I also design for digital stamping, web graphics, and conceptual art.
