My first casual outdoor art show in Tulsa was at Art Rocks Riverside. Located at the hip Elwoods on the river, this show was a great experience for me and my fiance. We had a great time. Set up went well. We met some very nice people, great artists and had some good potential clients for future web design projects. Even though we were up against the Tulsa State Fair, football games and other art events going on locally I couldn't ask for a better experience. We have another coming up on Saturday the 16th.
I sold several greeting cards, two prints, and a several candles.Great Experience! Would do it again in a heart beat.I still have enough inventory for the next one but plan on putting together some more pieces and candles as well for the holiday season.
We were surrounded by several unique artists that ranged from your landscape traditional art to mosaic and glass pieces, and a dog rescue display that was selling home-made treats, dog bandanas and pet beds.
The weather was beautiful, the music was good, and the staff at Elwoods was great, helpful and always stopped by to see if we needed a drink or a snack while on display. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait to do the next one!
